Zugunruhe Records is a fictional record label I created for an assignment for my master’s program. I developed a brand identity and guidelines and created digital content for Zugunruhe Records. Zugunruhe is a German term that describes migratory restlessness in birds. I found the word apt for a record label that helps struggling artists to “spread their wings and fly,” if you will excuse the cliche. The logo I designed features an American Robin, the state bird of my home state of Michigan and one of the species that experiences Zugunruhe.
